Hi, I am a New Zealand Registered Dietitian (NZRD) and Advanced Accredited Sports Dietitian (ASD), with Sports Dietitians Australia. I enjoy working with all athletes from recreational weekend warriors to high performance athletes. I believe it is important to understand how to fuel you body for optimal performance and recovery. I have recently completed my PhD with a research focus on FODMAPs as a dietary prescription for exercise-induced gastrointestinal syndrome. This has resulted in several publications and international conference presentations. This has led me to specalise and support endurance athletes who experience gut issues.
I have been a fitness instructor for over 30 years in addition to being a competitive squash player for most of my life, so I understand how the correct nutrition and hydration strategies will fuel your body to enhance your performance.
